Memories That Matter Scrapbooking Retreats
Join hundreds of women who have made Singing Hills Memories that Matter retreats a priority twice a year! These events are a focal point for many, as they have made us their scrapbooking and rubber stamping retreat home. Leave your worries and join us for a much needed break and great fun. Bring your friends and family members age 12 and up, or just bring yourself. You know this is just what you need! We hope to see you this year.
2010 Fall Date: November 5-7
Four weekends a year we sponsor our own Faith Crafting events for Christian women. Now entering our sixth year, our biannual craft retreats have become the crafting place to be for women of faith from all over New England. Our events offer rich spiritual truths based on the Bible, presented by gifted speakers. Combine that with a bit of pampering, great food and fun, and many precious hours dedicated to crafting masterpieces. It is the perfect opportunity to get those projects done! These three day events have an early fourth day arrival time that many women take advantage of. Here are a few specific things you will enjoy at a Faith Crafting retreat:
Heavenly Stitches Quilting Retreats
The Heavenly Stitches quilting retreats will give yet another craft center stage for a dedicated weekend of sewing up a storm. How often have you wanted to get that machine out to sew this year and just couldn't bring yourself to get out all your supplies? Well, bring the whole lot to Singing Hills and get that quilt done that you have been wanting to finish! Maybe you are a quilter want-to-be, or just like to do other fabric or fiber crafting? We can take care of that! Just bring your projects and join us!

Captivating he
r audiences and leaving them speechless is the trademark of Sue Thomas.
Profoundly deaf since the age of 18 months, Sue spent years with therapists to develop
her voice and in the process became an expert lip-reader in order to communicate
with the hearing world around her. It was in 1985 that the Lord began to point her
on an amazing journey; a journey she would not have chosen as it would rest on her
greatest weakness, the one which caused her many childhood scars through laughter
and ridicule. That journey as a professional public speaker came with her total surrender
at the foot of the Cross and of giving back to Him the gift of her voice. Her humor
is contagious and her stories are compelling. In 2002 her speaking platform went
international with the release of the TV series, SUE THOMAS: FBEYE. Inspired by her
unique job at the FBI headquarters in Washington, DC, doing undercover surveillance
by lip-reading, the weekly drama helps to bring more awareness to the lives of those
with physical challenges. Sue says, "I have had but one desire; to go forth to every
nation and to stand before all generations, to proclaim the love and forgiveness
of God, through His Son, Jesus Christ." And with that exuberant twinkle in her eye,
she adds, "And He can even use the FBI if He wants to!"
